Stewart describes a phone session given to an intensive care patient

One of the most dramatic sessions I have taken part in occurred when I had no idea I was going to give a session at all. In fact it did not follow the usual format that sessions take, but was powerful and deeply moving for both the client and myself.

I was told that my new friend Sally had been taken to the hospital. I called her in her room in the intensive care unit. I wanted to offer what support I could. Her friend answered the phone in the hospital room. “Sally,” ( I changed her name to protect her privacy) she said, “Stewart is going to do an amazing healing on you.”

“I am?” I replied. I was mildly in shock at the responsibility that this implied. I had called with no intention what so ever of giving a session. But I was willing to try. I always check in with my Higher Self to see if I can help a person. I got a very strong “yes.” When I “check in,” I am always told before hand whether I can help a client or not.

Although I love to be there physically, the essence of a session is an experience of consciousness that can just as easily be transmitted in person or over the phone- which ever way is appropriate given the circumstances.

Considering the seriousness of Sally’s condition, we started the session without delay. As usual, I asked Sally if I could see her Higher Self. When I saw Sally’s Higher Self, we both shifted into a higher state of consciousness and a profound feeling of peace and joy came over us. Tears of joy welled up in my eyes.

Sally’s friend Joan filled me in on some of the details of her health crisis. Sally, who was only in her twenties, was experiencing partial liver failure. If her condition did not improve, She was scheduled the next day to receive an emergency liver transplant.

I am not a doctor. I did not attempt to heal Sally of her health problem. That was not the goal of the session, nor can it ever be in the sessions I give. The purpose of sessions is spiritual; it is to help a person to connect to his or her Higher Self. From this source, people often get deep insights and healing, but this is not my doing. My goal is to help people to connect with the true essence of their being, which is profoundly spiritual in all of us. When this happens, there is healing on a spiritual level. The body may or may not have a healing. The body does not last forever, and it is not always it’s destiny to be healed. This is up to God. But in a health crisis such as this one, there is often a marvelous opportunity for spiritual awakening. Spiritual awakening is always the most important thing to strive for, and it is always my joy and my deep privelige to support this.

I usually work from the “top down” in a session. Meaning that I start witnessing the images in the energy body of the client from the charkas in the head down to the base of the spine. We start at the higher centers because it is here that people seem to connect with their Higher Self. As soon as we began the session, Sally and I were psychically in sync, meaning that every thing I saw in her, she also saw simultaneously. We were in a state of grace, completely telepathically connected. As soon as I asked if I could see her Higher Self she became completely connected to the loving radiant being that was her soul nature. It was my privilege to witnessed her beautiful Higher Self, and the radiant transformation Sally underwent when she connected with Her.

I don’t want to reveal confidential information about the session, so I am not going to tell you everything that happened. But Sally’s condition definitely related to feelings of deep loneliness and a sense of not deserving love. Powerful unresolved emotions, can definitely precipitate health crisis, either in the acute short term or the chronic long term. This was a crisis that had to be dealt with immediately.

I told you this so that you could see what a huge shift it was for her to suddenly merge with her Higher Self and feel totally loved- to feel one with love itself. This happened while she was telepathically connected with someone who was able to witness and validate the experience- and this helped integrate it, so that when the “altered State” was over, her conscious mind could integrate it, “and make it real.” Such an experience can forever shift our reality- especially if we have been caught up in a state of mind that is illusory, no matter how real (and destructive) it seemed. There is nothing more untrue than the idea that anyone, does not deserve love for we are all God’s children.

What I witnessed in Sally’s energy field in her upper chakras, was radiant beautiful unconditional love. If her life so far, she had had problems with the issue of love. This was because of her vulnerable nature- the nature of a person with great gifts of healing and giving love. The connection between us was so clear, that I don’t recall having to explain this to her- she just got it immediately- this was her truth- she was seeing the truth of her own nature, I was simply assisting by witnessing it, and allowing her to experience the connection between us.

After a few moments of witnessing in her head, I became aware of a beautiful being that I had never before seen so clearly and so personally. It was Mother Mary. Mother Mary appeared to help Sally in her crisis. Although Sally might not have known it until this moment, Mary was one of her spirit guides and allies. Sally’s shift into her Higher Self had made it possible for Mary to connect with her. Feeling Mary’s insistence, I then asked if we could go immediately into witnessing her liver. Sally said yes.

In her liver I saw emotional issues that were blocking her life force and making her no longer want to live. I don’t want to describe them as they are too personal to her. But they were finitely around the issue of feeling that she didn’t deserve love. I told her what I saw, describing images from her childhood and at other times, and their significance. Sally grasped instantly how the beliefs that she was carrying relating to these images were causing her current crisis.

I then asked Sally if she would like to release these issues from her liver.* She replied with deep feeling that she would. I immediately felt the presence of Mother Mary even more strongly- and I felt her divine presence inside Sally’s liver. She was blessing Sally’s liver, and fulfilling her request of releasing feelings that no longer served her. Sally and I were both in a state of profound joy and peace.

The next day I called Sally to see how she was doing. I was unable to reach her, but her friend told me that she had been released from the hospital. The doctors checked her liver function in the morning, it had returned to normal.

Shortly, after that I got a call from Sally. She was elated and extremely grateful.

Over a year has now gone by. Her health is excellent, and she will soon be beginning her career as a therapist healing and helping people.
