The following is a letter from Irene about her session. Immediately following is my description of her two sessions.

My experiences with Stewart Epstein, a letter by Irene 

A recurring dream about my death at the hands of a relative in a previous life plagues me for several years. I wasn’t certain if I was inferring my thoughts into this dream because this particular relative was very abusive in her relationship to me since my earliest memories could recollect. After explaining the dream to a close friend and Ayurvedic healer, she referred me to Stewart Epstein for a session of healing through past life regression. I didn’t know what to expect and consciously expected nothing. The session, however far surpassed any expectations that I could have hoped for.

The very first thing Stewart commented on upon entering my home was my dog, who was really not a dog, but a light being who was sent to help me heal. He explained that my dog would no longer be with me on this earth plane when I became stronger. Stewart had no way of knowing the circumstances that brought this dog into my life just before I underwent a grueling series of surgeries to correct a genetic disorder in my spine. Lacey was instrumental in my long recovery from these surgeries. She passed away four months after this reading.

Next, Stewart claimed he was in touch with my brother, who passed away two years prior to this reading. He again had no knowledge of Eric’s physical and spiritual characteristics. He described my brother to a tee and questioned me about his association with the darker side of Nordic mythology. Eric had many demons during his life, including drug addiction and his occasional delusion he was Loki, the Norse god of mischief. During the session we did work with Eric to release him from this delusion that was still haunting him in his current existence. Strangely, shortly after this reading, a sister also had a reading several thousand miles away. She was told that Eric had this delusion of Loki, but had been released from it recently and was now free.

I was touched by these insights; however, I still wanted to get to the root of this recurring dream, which we then proceeded to discover. There was indeed a long history of abuse from this relative, many lifetimes of it, and my dream had pieces of the truth. There was more to it however. I was able to see this relative as a light being that was tormented by demons of her own creation. I learned not to fear her, but to honor the light within and to live in the knowledge and the power that she could not hurt me, not the soul me. The session brought understanding to useless and cruel acts and freed me from fear. Since then, this relative has tried to intimidate me and it is not absorbed anymore. I honor her feelings and move onto a healthier place.

It’s a wonderful way to release myself from the cycle of abuse.

Since the session (and another incredible session shortly after Lacey’s death) my friends, family, and my spouse have commented on how much lighter and more peaceful I am. I couldn’t agree more. My physical and spiritual being has been basking in my current state of wellness. Words cannot describe how appreciative I am of Stewart and his special gifts. I am a better person for the experience and I am honored to have his friendship in my life.

Stewart describes the two sessions with Irene (see letter from Irene directly above) As a preface to Irene’s first session, I must say that it was one of the most intense I have ever done, both in the amount of material we covered, and the emotional impact of it. Not all sessions are this challenging. It took courage for her to stay present with what we saw in the first session. In the space of a few hours, we processed traumatic experiences from many lives. By contrast, the second session was delightful and easy although equally powerful.

Irene and I meet

I met Irene through a mutual friend. As soon as I told her of the sessions, She was sure that she wanted to have one. She was particularly bothered by a recurring dream that she had been having involving her sister since early childhood. The circumstances of the dream were extremely intriguing. I don’t think it appropriate to divulge more of the particulars of the dream, which she alluded to in her letter above, but she had been deeply troubled by it for years

.I meet her dog  who was not just a dog

When I arrived at her home I was immediately greeted by her dog. This dog was a real character. You could almost hear her talking to you. she was extremely funny, mischievous, even goofy in his frumpled doggyness, but also an extremely wise and deeply loving soul. Although I have never had this impression from a dog before, I was sure his soul was not from this planet.

When Irene came out to greet me in her yard, where I was playing with the “dog,” I said, “Your dog is very special. She is not really a dog at all, but a being from a planet where souls are more evolved in love than Earth. He was sent here to help you in coming into your power.”

Irene replied, a bit taken aback, “I hope you are not just kidding me. Lacey is very important to me. She has played a very special role in my life. When I had spinal surgery and was in a full body caste, She lay in bed with me for months while I recovered. She played a crucial role in my healing.”

I looked at her amazed. Irene appeared much younger than her years. I could not tell from looking at her light hearted face that she had been through such an ordeal.

Something also struck me about the Lacey. She had a very unusual rounded head, and ears that stuck out like a deer’s. Then I remembered where I had seen such a face before. It was in a picture of an ancient Egyptian carving of a Hathor. The Hathors were extraterrestrial beings that helped the Egyptians build their civilization thousands of years ago. More about Lacey’s Hathor connection later.

Irene’s Higher Self

We began the session. At first we sat facing each other. I gently held each of her hands, so that I could help her shift to a higher level of consciousness. I asked permission to see her Higher Self.

What I saw was a being of great love, who was radiating this love to people on Earth. Her love was deeply connected to the Christ vibration. She was beautiful, dressed in gossamer flowing fabric. She was playing a harp. The harp symbolized the healing vibration that was emanating from her. I was very delighted and moved to be witnessing her. Tears came into my eyes, at the beauty of the scene. This often happens to me when I shift into a higher dimension in the beginning of a session.

“For the time we are in the session,” I said, “I invite you to relax and not make any effort. The shift to a higher state of consciousness can only be achieved in a relaxed state. In fact strain will prevent you from experiencing the deep levels of consciousness that we are going to be in together. This is a really fun process! Just relax and enjoy experience.” Irene’s Spirit GuardiansThen, I asked to see her spirit guardians. Immediately a ring of warriors formed around her dressed in shaggy furs. They were wearing helmets and carried spears. Above her Archangel Michael hovered. These beings were symbolic of powerful protection.Psychic ProtectorsFor the duration of the session, it was also my job to maintain a connection with her guides and protectors, as well as my own, and keep her safe while she was in the trance state. As we ventured into the psychic planes, a place of infinite possibilities, both dark and light, it was necessary to have guides and protectors of the highest spiritual power to assist us. I would also keep her safe while she relaxed and integrated at the end of the session when she would gently transition into normal consciousness. At this final stage of the session, I would form a protective golden bubble of light around her. As we consciously shift dimensions, it is good to be able to relax totally and feel safe.

Telepathic Connection

As I described what I saw, I was aware that she too was witnessing the same scenes. By sharing the vision, and giving it words, I was bridging the higher realms where the visions were taking place, and her conscious mind, so that the vision could be integrated with her normal life. By being an intermediary, I was inviting her to remember and integrate, what other wise her mind might forget, or discard as some sort kind of dream. We sometimes need help the first time when stepping outside our normal reality system. But the images we experienced were not dreams images. They were super conscious experiences involving her Higher Self, and the dimension from which she came. They could help her achieve her intentions.Irene sets her intentions“Now, in the presence of your Higher Self and spirit guides and protectors, I want to ask you, what is it you want from this session?”

“I want release from the torment of the recurring dream. I want to really understand what happened when I was a child, and why my sister was so cruel to me. I want to feel peace about my brother, Eric’s untimely death. I want to understand why I was born with a spine which was malformed. I want to know what my purpose is here on Earth. I want to be healthy and joyous.”

The beings that worked through me replied, “we can support you in your requests. Would you like to lie down?” Irene lay down and made herself comfortable.

As the trance deepens and people become more and more relaxed, people almost always want to lie down. It is only the early stage of the session that I request that they sit up, because in this posture it is easier to establish contact with the Higher Self.

The session is not just a guided trance. In it I give information so that the client will be able to continue the healing process and navigate the psychic realms with out me. The healing power of presenceI went on to say, “When you are deeply present, it is the light of your consciousness that heals you. Bring your awareness to the core of the experience no matter how much you want to avoid it. Likewise if there is discomfort in your body, bring your awareness to the center of that, as if nothing else exists except that. Do this in a relaxed state. The spotlight of your awareness is the light of healing. Darkness will flee from it. But it will not work when you are completely caught up in your emotions. You can remain trapped in the emotional intensity of an experience for a long time. That is why it is so important to look through the eyes of the Higher Self, for the Higher Self is forever free and always at peace.”

We meet Eric

Immediately, in the vision, an intruder showed up. He was definitely not a spirit guide or protector. He was mischievous and a prankster, creating chaos in our peaceful vision. I knew right away it was Eric, her deceased brother. I described him.

“That’s Eric” she said with a bit of resignation about how mischievous he could be.

I was a bit miffed that he showed up in our session uninvited. I could feel his suffering. I knew he had arrived in the beginning of our session for a reason, so I was hesitant to tell him to leave.

“Irene, can we spend some time with your brother?”

“Yes, please, I would like to help him if we can.”

“Already I was seeing previews of what was to come. O.K., but you are going to see some pretty powerful scenes. Some of them involve you in a past life. I want you to see them through the eyes of your Higher Self. That way you won’t be caught up in their emotional impact. You don’t have to relive the full emotional intensity of them to resolve the experience. Just be present with it, and your psyche will integrate it and do whatever is needed to create healing.”

At first Eric didn’t want to talk to me. He seemed too isolated by the shame his memories to be able to be reached. But perhaps, by intruding on our session, he was calling for help. “Eric, can we talk?” I asked. He hesitated, as if readying to flee……..

“Would you be willing to talk to me if it was to help Irene?”

“I’ll give it a try.” he said hesitantly.

“Eric, I’m going to look at your past life when you knew Irene before.”

Different scenes from Eric’s former life as a Viking came into my inner vision. In one scene he and his fellow warriors were burning a village, killing and raping. One of the women that Eric raped in that past life scene was Irene. Such savage behavior was the norm for Eric and his comrades during their raids.

After seeing this, it was obvious why Eric in his later incarnation as Irene’s brother was tormented by guilt. Because he was unable to deal with these memories, he suppressed them. Sometimes, because of this he would become deluded that he was Loki, the Norse god of mischief, wrecking havoc upon the people. Because of his shame, he could not communicate his memories to anyone. He was trapped by them, lonely and isolated. The fact that I was able to witness these events from his past without judging him had a tremendous impact on him! Suddenly Eric was no longer alone and isolated in his experience. In a very real way, for Eric, being witnessed with love and compassion, set him free. In the play of good and evil on earth many people have done bad things in the past. With compassion, these experiences can be turned to good. But Eric needed one more thing to set him free from the prison of guilt and remorse he had made for himself in the astral world.

“Irene, are you willing to forgive Eric for what he did to you?” I asked.

“Yes, absolutely.” she said without a moment’s hesitation. Her eyes shown with compassion for the long years of suffering that Eric had brought upon himself, that were even now preventing him from ascending to the Heaven.

In the moment of her forgiveness, Eric transformed. His dark energy became brilliant and beautiful. He ascended to a place of great beauty love and joy. He was free.A past life memory from the Inquisition.In a session, I look into the chakras from the head down. As I looked into Irene’s throat, I saw a past life memory from medieval times in which was fearlessly standing up on a wooden platform speaking about love. She denounced the church’s strategies of intimidation and torture that we now call the inquisition. She spoke these words even though they put her in grave danger.

In the next scene, she was in a torture chamber. In all the sessions I have given, this was one of the most difficult scenes for me to witness. The room was black. There were torture devises in it that were designed to create the deepest imaginable terror. Irene was on one of them. Her back was being broken. The torturers were trying to force her to recant sins and admit that she was evil. They were trying to break her soul as well as her body. Yet she was innocent and had never done anything to deserve this. The forces of darkness were trying to take from her the power her love and the light of her truth. Their greatest weapon was to try to make her doubt herself. The unhealed trauma of this experience caused her to be born with an injured back in her current life, that corresponded to a wound in her emotional body that needed to be released. In healing this, she would come into her light as never before.

Before revisiting this scene with her, I asked if she was sure she wished to remember something so painful.

She said “Yes, if that‘s what it takes to release this memory from my body.”

I told her that if she became distressed, I would take her out of there to a place where she feel safe and peaceful. I asked her to be sure to witness all she was about to see through the eyes of her Higher Self so she would become caught up in the emotional intensity of the memory.

Never the less, when she entered into the memory, she began to panic. It took a strong act of will on my part to take her out of that scene and bring her to the heavenly place she ascended to when she was released from that broken body. It was a place of great light and bliss. She returned to the deep peace her Higher Self.

“Do you want to go back to that scene, and finish witnessing it? You don’t have to if you don’t want to.” But now she was more determined than ever to master it. She knew that that suppressed memory had been sabotaging her life for many years.

I was struck by her courage, she who had spoke her truth fearlessly and stood up to the inquisitors, and who now was willing to go back to the torture chamber and witness it’s memory and release it. She wanted to do this not only for her own sake, but for the sake of all of those she could help as she came more into her power. We went back to the torture chamber, and this time, she remained calm as she watched it.

“ Irene, you never did anything to deserve what they did to you. The problems with your back in your current physical existence, as well as your experiences of abuse were due to the dark messages that you took in in a time of deep emotional anguish and confusion. The people who did this to you were trying to prevent you from sharing your beautiful spiritual light with the world, then and in future lives. They were trying to sabotage you spiritually. By witnessing these memories through the eyes of your Higher Self, in the company of your angels and allies, they will never again have power over you.”

“I let them go.” she said.

“Now that you have seen these memories, they are no longer in the unconscious mind. Although you will at times remember the experience, it will never again have the power to sabotage your life. If you suppress experiences, the mind cannot work with them. But when you bring them into consciousness, the mind, knows exactly what to do in order to heal them. Healing is deepening of awareness of one’s self. It is ever expanding awareness. What is needed is to remain fully present with the experience. But sometimes this can be very difficult. If we fail to be present with an experience, sometimes we must revisit it. It is your consciousness that heals you. There are times when the pain of experiencing something becomes unbearable and one thinks it will last forever. It is often at this very moment that things shift, and it is released.”The recurring dreamAs we witnessed Irene’s heart and the chakras below it, we saw scenes pertaining to her relationship with her sister. They showed a past life and the cause of her sister’s pain and her abusiveness towards Irene. Once again Irene had never done anything to provoke this abuse. The lesson for Irene was a very high one in the development of her soul. The lesson, as in the scene with the torture chamber, was about overcoming suffering with love. Now it became evident why her sister had been abusive in this life. There was other information that showed the cause of the recurring dream. I am not going to give the details of what we witnessed here, because it might not support their current relationship to do so. When Irene saw that her sister’s resentment was caused by her own suffering, she was able to forgive her sister for it, and no longer feel such pain from her sister’s projected anger.

.Integration

At the end of the session, I brought Irene back up to her heart and kept a protective bubble around her while she lay quietly and integrated. She felt blissful and peaceful. She said that it was the first time she had been able to stop a seizure without medication. I said that the repressed memory may have been a cause for the seizures. Later she told me that she was able to communicate with Eric daily, and that he had become a friend and an ally instead of a source of anxiety. She felt less pain in her relationship with her sister. 

Irene’s second session:

The remarkable Pleadian dog.

A few months after the first session, Irene’s beloved dog Lacey passed away. Irene was far more devastated than she could have imagined. She just could not get over it. Her husband’s business demanded her attention, but she was unable to help him. She called me up to schedule a session to help her let go of Lacey.The first thing I asked her to do when I arrived at her house was to look up Hathors on the internet. We found a picture of a carving of a Hathor from ancient Egypt that bore a striking resemblance to Lacey. A comic coincidence; the Hathors came from Sirius B a sun in the Pleadian solar system known as the dog star! We learned that the Hathors loved music and that they helped develop the ancient Egyptian musical system in which the harp played a major role. Irene is a harpist. Hathor became a Goddess in ancient Egyptian mythology who represented the Divine Feminine. She had to go into the underworld to resurrect her mate. As we discovered the information, I commented on how it related symbolically to her current life. Lacey had come into her life to help her through a very important transition. She was a vehicle for a very high vibration soul that was an ally and a catalyst for Irene. When this transition was nearly complete, the dog would pass on so that Irene could come fully into her power on her own. (I had predicted Lacey’s passing for this reason months before her death.) Irene commented that if the dog had not passed, she would not have been willing to leave Lacey and travel to California to deal with the current family business crisis- and we both acknowledged that this would surely be an impetus for her to come more fully into her power. The symbolism also spoke of her rescuing her husband from the “underworld.’ This meant that they would succeed in resurrecting the business and that as a result of his wife’s joining forces with him in meeting this challenge, he would also come more into his power. The symbolism of the mythology surrounding the Hathors had great meaning in Irene’s life.The 2nd sessionThis session was extremely easy and delightful unlike the previous one that was so challenging. Irene’s Higher Self was even more bright joyous and beautiful than before.

We connect to her guides and protectors.

“Irene, are you ready to go find your “dog?” There was a sense of adventure, and a little trepidation on my part, knowing that we were both going to experience a momentous shift and go off into the vast unknown, very possible to another planet, to find the highly evolved soul of her former dog. The nervousness I experienced was irrational because I knew we were going to a place that was very high vibration. We were going to a place of massive light , in the rarified vibration of which human ego could not exist.

“Let’s go.” she said.

I let Irene know that Lacey never really was a dog, but a powerful ally from a higher realm that became a dog because that was a good opportunity to serve her and love her in a form that was humorous and humble, befitting the magnificent soul of this being. But when we encountered him, I reminded her, don’t expect to find a dog.We travel to a planet of lightSo I put my hand on her forehead, and we found ourselves traveling through the dark night of the astral plane, filled with brilliant stars. We were accompanied by Eric, who was now emitting a brilliant spiritual light- a most welcome traveling companion. We were riding magnificent winged white horses as we entered the luminous atmosphere of a heavenly planet. The energy was so blissful and the glowing images of waterfalls and mountains emanating a light so beautiful, that it took my breath away. I was deeply honored to get to go to such a place because I was assisting Irene.

This was the heavenly planet where both she and her brother Eric were from, but it was certainly new to me! What a treat to get to visit it! I deeply understood why in his earthly existence Eric found it difficult to be bound in a physical body, and also why Irene would be so severely tested on Earth. Because Earth is a highly dualistic planet, the higher the love vibration, the more severe can be the tests. We are greeted and fedWhen we arrived. we were immediately greeted by tall luminous beings that offered us “food” made of light in luminescent chalices. Everything was extremely delightful. There was a vibration of love and peace emanating with the frequencies of light that surrounded us. The light was intelligent- in fact it was made of consciousness. After this visit, in which I had the privilege of being the guide, I knew, she would easily be able to get there by herself. We still had not met the soul that had come through her dog’s body, so we left the blissful company of our hosts.

The River Styx

We spied a shining river in the distance. When I say shining, I mean it was actually emanating light. “That is the river Styx, what is known on Earth as the river of death. Only here it is the river of light.”

On this planet, we could move as quickly as our intention dictated. Soon we were floating above the river, and I saw a beautiful tall luminous soul waiting for us on the other side. While I occupied myself reveling in the scenery, Irene and her beloved friend shared moments of deep communion that brought renewal and nourishment to her soul. I could sense the solidifying of the power in Irene’s energy field as she drank deeply from the well of her own essence that was reflected to her by her ally.

To experience such a heavenly vibration, while maintaining connection to the Earth Plane and the physical body took a great deal of my energy. But this was part of my job as a guide, to help Irene integrate these two realms of existence. I did not want to over tax my body!

The moment came for us to return to Earth.

The farewell between Irene and her beloved friend was not sad at all, because now she knew she had access to him always and the heavenly place where he resided. We left for Earth and I once again got astride the white horse. But now Irene no longer needed a horse. She effortlessly levitated into the astral night to return home. TransitionWe arrived smoothly back on earth, and into our three dimensional bodies. The integration was extremely peaceful for Irene. The grief about her lost dog was gone.

The next day, Irene told me that she had easily been able to return to the planet on her own. Weeks went by and she took the trip to California and successfully met the challenges that waited for her there. Her husband stepped into a role of authority in the company that he had never before been comfortable in and by doing so created the boundaries needed to prevent this crisis in the business from ever happening again.
